that wasn’t very pleasant
hello people! do u ever get that feeling that you really just don’t want to talk to people but u know that its fruitless because talking with them is inevitable and unavoidable?!
well this is how Im feeling with some of my family members lately… its just some of them specially my father is acting immaturely and though I know why he’s behaving in such a way and though i can explain his demeanor using several perspectives in psychology, I know I cannot explain these to him because aside from power tripping he is the type of person who will twist whatever u say and make it work for him. That’s y it took 16 yrs for me (that was when I was a freshman in college) to be able to speak my thoughts and be able to fight for what I believe and what I want using coherent argument. I just do not agree with what he’s saying. Here’s the deal, we all got our own demons to fight with but Ive also learned that blaming others for certain troubles will not yield anything positive because as far as Im concerned i haven’t met a certain person who will concede after being blamed–it just appears that everyone just thinks that s/he is so fuc**n ryt!!! GRRR~~~I was completely dissapointed with ho he’d handled matters last week and I thought that because he egged us for the ’solution’ he wants it was going to be the last discussion about the matter. But last nyt he kept on repeating and repeating the matter and ypu know I just feel sick about it, he is the father so i expect him to act like one–not slike some old guy blaming his wife and kids about matters he can no longer change.
Its just Viktor Frankl stated the every man has the last choice of how to react.. you just cant say that “O gosh I hate you all! You forced me into this, thereby eliminating me of my free will and the capacity to choose!” I just wouldn’t believe that person because how you’ll react to a certain situation can be the very least choice you have.
In connection with what Im ranting here, my father claims that he has no choice over the situation when in fact he was the one who said yes to the problem at hand threby–the fibnal decision maker. After all these years of not hearing our side, of trying to manipulate things and of not considering our plans over financial matters; this is how it’ll go?!!!!!!
I mean this sucks big time!
